Featuring an entirely new movement, built in Glashütte’s German manufactory, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date is a new watch addition to Glashütte Original’s 20th Century Vintage Collection.
I look at old, vintage watches and they have this beautiful style. Simple and so elegant. If you’re like me, then Glashütte Original’s 20th Century Vintage Collection is worth considering. You’ll get a brand new watch, using today’s advanced technologies and precision, and still have that classic style you love.
Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date watch is no exception. The attention to detail is remarkable.
It comes in three versions with dials in galvanised silver, blue or ruthenium, encased in a softly rounded square, stainless steel case.
There are also three variants of the bracelets; leather (our favourite), stainless steel and rubber.
The new chronograph movement, the automatic 4 Hz column wheel Calibre 37-02, has fewer individual parts. The oscillation system has a 70 hour power reserve, managed by just one single barrel.
This new movement, however, doesn’t have the regulator on the spring, but rather the regulation is performed by four gold screws on the balance of the rim. This allows the movement to run continuously for a longer period of time.
Glashütte Original’s Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date is a real work of art. We’ll leave you with these amazing photographs.
